Three-day-long Historical European Martial Arts (HEMA) training camp in an amazing environment.
1378 was the year Medininkai castle was first mentioned. 14th and 15th centuries are also when we get the first detailed descriptions of medieval European martial arts, and that’s what this HEMA camp is going to be all about.
Each day there will be a seminar on one of three medieval weapons with a world-renown fencing master:
July 29: Sword and buckler (Roland Warzecha, aka Dimicator)
July 30: Longsword (David Rawlings from London Longsword Academy)
July 31: Messer (Oskar ter Mors from Virtual Fechtschule)
Additional activities will include tours, lectures, sparring, target cutting, sitting around a campfire and more.
How much will it cost?
Price with accommodation (in a hostel near Medininkai):
3 days: 250 eur
2 days: 200 eur
1 day: 150 eur
Price without accommodation. Applicable if you choose to camp at the hostel’s grounds or commute from Vilnius (~30 km):
3 days: 190 eur
2 days: 160 eur
1 day: 130 eur
