It’s time for the 11th annual Blood on the River! Ain’t no party like a Plow party! Longsword, Rapier, Saber, 40+, and Mixed Weapons!
Hey folks!
It’s time for the 11th annual Blood on the River!
Same Plow party (Ain’t none like it!) that you’ve come to expect and enjoy.
As always, Labor Day weekend, from Friday to Monday.
You can grab a hotel nearby, sleep in the Broken Plow church, or camp outside. We have an expanded camping area on our property.
Rapier, Longsword, Messer, and Saber will be submitted to HEMA Ratings.
Friday: 7pm Rapier Tournament
Saturday:10am Messer, 12pm Longsword (Beginner and Open)
Sunday: 9am Saber, 1pm Special Event (mixed weapons? melee? tbd), Ober The Hill (40+ foam longsword), BBQ/pig roast, open sparring, archery, etc.
Monday – Sparring and brunch at American Legion.
Rulesets are coming soon! Longsword will not be continuous fencing this year!
