The Salle d’Armes is organising a sabre and “contre-pointe” workshop on the weekend of 18 and 19 April. Jean-François Gilles will present the history and method of French counterpoint according to the fencing manual approved by the Minister of War in 1877.
The programme:
Friday 17 April: 7pm-10pm – training
Saturday 18 April: 9am-7pm – course
Sunday 19 April: 9am-2pm – visit to the Army Museum
