The SIGI Concept Light combines modern aesthetics with an homage to historical fencing masters depicted in famous fencing books such as the Starhemberg Fechtbuch (Cod.44.A.8). The schilt or ricasso shape helps recreate the behavior of a traditionally shaped sword while providing just enough cover for thumb extension.
