miniFecht 2025 is a fresh little competition organized by the Bratislava Fencing Guild (BŠS). The competition will take place on Saturday, March 15, 2025 from approximately 9-13:00 in the gym of ŠMND Teplická 7. We assume that we will finish the main part by 12:00, so there will be time for free sparring until 13:00.

As announced in the description and in the registration form, the competition will be held according to weighted epee rules – this means that so-called deep targets (head, torso, upper arms and upper thighs) will be evaluated with 2 points and shallow targets (arms and legs approximately from the knee down) with 1 point. In the case of a hit, the competitor will receive the ratio of these points (if you hit the head and your opponent’s hands, your gain is 2 points and his 1 point). The group stage is up to 8 points, the elimination stage is up to 12. Everyone advances to the elimination. The Vor rule does not apply, but for other situations we follow the FEBUS rules (penalties, violations, equipment standards).

The tournament fee is a symbolic 20€ and is paid on site. It covers the costs of the gym, refreshments and referees.
