SUMMARY:Battle Born
DESCRIPTION:Battle Born is a premium mid-size HEMA event that brings in fencers from all over North America. We strive to marry the best aspects of the professionalism of large HEMA events with the camaraderie and opportunities for individual connection found in small HEMA events. \nSome things we do: \nRegular tournaments in Longsword\, Broadsword\, Rapier\, and Women’s Smallsword\n“Single-Life” tournaments in Longsword\, Broadsword\, and Rapier; we are considering smallsword\, as well!\nBoth curated workshops and tournaments\, run at separate times (so you’ll never miss a class by your favorite instructor because you had to compete!)\nA casual dinner on Saturday for more socializing opportunities\nKeeping focus on quality judging\, fencer experience\, and audience experience\nOur tournament ruleset is different. Our approach to HEMA events is different. We hope this makes for a better experience.
