DESCRIPTION:We are mixing things up a bit this time and running the following tournaments: \n– Longsword\, Tiers A&B\n– Sabre\, Tiers A&B\n– Open Spear (Partisan)\n– Open Sidesword\n– Open Rapier & Dagger\nFor the longword & sabre tournaments this year we are running A&B divisions\, these will be seeded by fencer’s HEMAratings (weighted ratings) after registration closes.\nThe top four fencers from the “B” tier tournaments will also be added to the subsequent “A” tier pools\, allowing for another chance at medaling. \nThis event will also be the first New Zealand HEMA tournament to be included in the Australian Historical Fencing League circuit\, so expect some hotly contested finals. \nPut aside the date\, book your flights to Christchurch\, New Zealand\, and get training for UFC5!
