The Assailants in Multiple Opponents Contest however must always use a Federschwert! \n– For the Krieg League Auxiliary Activity\, participants may choose TOGETHER\, at the beginning of each match\, to use any sort of weapon\, EXCEPT for projectile weapons\, pole weapons and Montante/Zweihander AND AS LONG AS THEIR OPPONENT AGREES TO FIGHTING WITH A MATCHED WEAPON (Sabre vs. Sabre\, LS vs LS\, Rapier vs Rapeir etc.). DESCRIPTION:​HEMA WashFechten 2026 will be a single day historical fencing event focused on a number of tournaments alongside a separate sparring area to the side. \nThe disciplines will be longsword open\, longsword womens\, and a RoW longsword invitational tournament. \nWe will be posting further information about them all in future. \nThe overall format of the tournaments will be the same as last year\, while some aspects will hopefully be a worthy improvement based on the constructive comments we’ve received on our first version of WashFechten and from what we’ve seen of various tournaments globally in the meantime.
