SUMMARY:King of the Green Mountain Open 2022
DESCRIPTION:We here at the Norwich Society of Historical Swordsmanship and Fencing wish to welcome everyone to our open. We are a fencing club steeped in the tradition of Norwich University which is the oldest military school in the US. With this Open\, we wish to bring some level of healthy competition and martial tradition back to Norwich that has since faded. Therefore\, our motto is: “vivo gladio moriatur gladio” or live by the sword\, die by the sword. This means that if we are to bring this martial tradition back to our home Norwich\, we much live in such a way that our sword is carried with us everywhere we go even to the day we die.
