SUMMARY:Clash for the Cash 2025
DESCRIPTION:Join us for the Clash for the Cash Longsword tournament on March 1st & 2nd 2025 in Pemberton\, NJ. This will be the only event of its kind in this part of the country with cash prizes and medals being awarded to the top 8 fighters. \nThe entry fee for the tournament is essentially a $55 buy-in\, with the proceeds being given to fighters instead of merchandise. The awards will break down as follows: \n$600 for 1ST place\n$300 for 2ND\n$150 for 3RD\n$100 for 4TH\n$50 for places 5-8\nThese amounts will be contingent upon attendance\, of course\, and will be based upon a roster of 60 fighters. If the tournament doesn’t sell out\, the prize amounts may have to be adjusted. \nThis will be a two day event with a competition on day one\, and free sparring on day two (though there may be a couple of classes as well – this is to be decided). There will be no sponsors\, no frills\, and no subdivisions….just a plump purse of prize money waiting to be claimed. It will be open to fighters of any gender or skill level. It is our intention to put together a relatively low-cost event which will be designed to give all fighters the best possible experience for the money they spend.

SUMMARY:miniFECHT 2025
DESCRIPTION:miniFecht 2025 is a fresh little competition organized by the Bratislava Fencing Guild (BŠS). The competition will take place on Saturday\, March 15\, 2025 from approximately 9-13:00 in the gym of ŠMND Teplická 7. We assume that we will finish the main part by 12:00\, so there will be time for free sparring until 13:00. \nAs announced in the description and in the registration form\, the competition will be held according to weighted epee rules – this means that so-called deep targets (head\, torso\, upper arms and upper thighs) will be evaluated with 2 points and shallow targets (arms and legs approximately from the knee down) with 1 point. In the case of a hit\, the competitor will receive the ratio of these points (if you hit the head and your opponent’s hands\, your gain is 2 points and his 1 point). The group stage is up to 8 points\, the elimination stage is up to 12. Everyone advances to the elimination. The Vor rule does not apply\, but for other situations we follow the FEBUS rules (penalties\, violations\, equipment standards). \nThe tournament fee is a symbolic 20€ and is paid on site. It covers the costs of the gym\, refreshments and referees.

DESCRIPTION:Preparations for Winterkamp 2025 have started! \nWinterkamp is all about HEMA in all it’s glory\, being with friends and making new ones.\nWorkshops from well known and new instructors in a friendly environment including sleeping (and showers untill the end of the event ;-)) and 3 meals a day (friday only diner) for an all in price! \nWhen: 28 – 30 March 2025\nWhere: Groepsaccomodatie De Hoof\, 5712 LM Someren\, The Netherlands \nYou are welcome from Friday\, March 28\, 2025 around 5:00 PM. After unpacking your things you can join the dinner\, and after dinner the first workshops and lectures will start (schedule to follow).\nSaturday starts with a shared breakfast\, after which the day’s program starts. Lunch is provided in the afternoon and dinner in the evening. The workshop program continues after dinner and the day ends with an optional evening program.\nThe last workshop/lecture will conclude on Sunday around 4 o’clock\, after which there will still be time to spar\, shower and clean up.
