SUMMARY:Spring is coming - sparring camp 2025
DESCRIPTION:We are gathering just before the coming of spring for a few days dedicated to Historical fencing freeplay. We will have not only Open floor\, but fencing games\, sparring coaching\, ruleset variations experiments\, judged matches etc. A few short workshops will be focused on how to fence safely and efficiently during your freeplay time\, specially if you are with unknown opponents.\nWe might also have a small unofficial competition to top it off.\nI have chosen a hotel that offers accommodation\, 3 meals a day and a training hall specially for us. Cost will be 155 Euro per person for the whole event with everything included.\nAt least partial\, preferably full gear is required for participation. However I can lend some elements if notified early enough. There is an option for providing swords and transport from Sofia if anyone decides to fly in

DESCRIPTION:Preparations for Winterkamp 2025 have started! \nWinterkamp is all about HEMA in all it’s glory\, being with friends and making new ones.\nWorkshops from well known and new instructors in a friendly environment including sleeping (and showers untill the end of the event ;-)) and 3 meals a day (friday only diner) for an all in price! \nWhen: 28 – 30 March 2025\nWhere: Groepsaccomodatie De Hoof\, 5712 LM Someren\, The Netherlands \nYou are welcome from Friday\, March 28\, 2025 around 5:00 PM. After unpacking your things you can join the dinner\, and after dinner the first workshops and lectures will start (schedule to follow).\nSaturday starts with a shared breakfast\, after which the day’s program starts. Lunch is provided in the afternoon and dinner in the evening. The workshop program continues after dinner and the day ends with an optional evening program.\nThe last workshop/lecture will conclude on Sunday around 4 o’clock\, after which there will still be time to spar\, shower and clean up.
