DESCRIPTION:We are mixing things up a bit this time and running the following tournaments: \n– Longsword\, Tiers A&B\n– Sabre\, Tiers A&B\n– Open Spear (Partisan)\n– Open Sidesword\n– Open Rapier & Dagger\nFor the longword & sabre tournaments this year we are running A&B divisions\, these will be seeded by fencer’s HEMAratings (weighted ratings) after registration closes.\nThe top four fencers from the “B” tier tournaments will also be added to the subsequent “A” tier pools\, allowing for another chance at medaling. \nThis event will also be the first New Zealand HEMA tournament to be included in the Australian Historical Fencing League circuit\, so expect some hotly contested finals. \nPut aside the date\, book your flights to Christchurch\, New Zealand\, and get training for UFC5!

DESCRIPTION:The time has finally come! After a long hiatus we are holding the next Austrian Nationals on the 14th and 15th of June 2025. Sign up for one out of a total of 149 entries across the disciplines ‘Longsword Open’\, ‘Longsword Womens’\, ‘Langes Messer’\, ‘Sabre’\, ‘Rapier’ and ‘Sword and Buckler’. For under 18s we are also hosting an additional Kids Tournament. For non competitiors there will be an open hall for sparring on both days. \nThe tournament takes place in the ‘Sporthalle Josef Preis Allee’ in Salzburg. (Adress: Josef Preis Allee 3-5 Salzburg)\nYou can find information on registration\, parking\, overnight stay\, and supporting program on our website: https://oem.historischesfechten.at\nAll are welcome\, no matter if you are an experienced tournament master\, a new beginner or a spectator. DESCRIPTION:Historical European Martial Arts (HEMA) is an endeavor started in the 20th century in the US and Europe\, its aim is to reconstruct European martial arts that has its lineage broken through the interpretation of period manuscripts. In Asia\, more and more people are joining the movement\, either based on the fascination with a foreign culture\, or through a passion for martial arts. A HEMA event for Asia – Clash of Steel. We invite everyone to join us. \nDue to renovation work at our originally planned venue\, we have decided to relocate this year’s event to Chung Mei Auditorium at Fu Jen Catholic University\, a private Catholic institution. This venue is a school gymnasium that resembles a Roman arena and hosted various university sports competitions every year\, including fencing\, basketball\, and volleyball tournaments. The surrounding area offers convenient transportation\, a wide variety of restaurants\, and ample accommodation and medical resources. \nWe hope you will enjoy great food\, have a fantastic time\, and leave with valuable experiences. \nThis year’s event will feature:\nOpen Longsword Tournament\nOpen Rapier & Dagger Tournament\nTen Different Weapon Workshops\nLARP Combat Event on the First Evening\nMore details will be announced on our Facebook page and official website.
