DESCRIPTION:Can’t decide on your summer vacation? Looking for a good tournament? Why not both?\nJoin us at Svetivinčenat\, in the heart of Istria\, Croatia\, inside the castle Morosini-Girmani where an epic tournament will be held! The tournament will be held inside the castle walls giving us shade while also be able to purchase any drinks from the in-castle bar which also makes cocktails so you can fully embrace the Chill. \nThe current categories are:\nSidesword (24 participants)\nSword and buckler (24 participants)\nLongsword (24 participants) \nThe tournament will take place over two days\, with sidesword\, sword and buckler being on the first day\, while longsword will be on the second day.\nYou will be allowed to participate in more categories (for a small fee) if there is space in other categories. Priority goes to fencers which selected the category in question as their primary category. \nApply now:\nhttps://forms.gle/H5LLWTZHndarXaLJ7 \nKeep in mind that it is safe to assume that the tournament will have tourists and visitors that will watch the matches. Also\, since it’s an outside tournament we will be exposed to the elements. Rain is highly unlikely\, but heat is probable. More details will follow. \nAbout Istria\nIstria is famous for its wines\, truffles\, olive oil\, beaches and many other delights! SUMMARY:Unicorn FightClub 2023
DESCRIPTION:Unicorn FightClub is a series of open tournaments held over three days in central Christchurch\, New Zealand. It has the format of an international HEMA competition while remaining accessible and friendly (as is the kiwi way). The first two days are held at a large indoor sports arena\, with the last day held at our dojo on the padded mats for the jacket wrestling (Ringen) tournaments\, as well as the non-scored events such as rondel dagger sparring.\nAs well as the medals (and prizes) for winning individual tournaments\, we also have prizes for UFC champion (or: Master of Arms)- the fencer with the best overall score over three events\, and the much coveted Technical Excellence award (as voted by their peer fencers from the various tournaments).

DESCRIPTION:“Retorno a la espada” is an event open to all fencers who wish to participate\, organized by the fencing school “Sala de Armas Pedro del Monte”.\nIn this event\, different styles and a common philosophy within the HEMA meet\, which mainly advocates maintaining a martial line to try to better understand the practice of this art in the past.\nDuring the event\, different Instructors and “Maestros” give seminars to learn and discover the rich variety of styles and weapons that are included within the HEMA framework.\nIn addition to the seminars\, we can also enjoy personalized tutorials\, fencing games\, interesting talks\, and of course\, a wide space of time for free sparring so that participants have the opportunity to fight with people from other fencing schools.

DESCRIPTION:This autumn you have a unique opportunity – to take part in the first ever Bulgarian HEMA tournament event\, Sofia CrossSwords 2022.\nWe have prepared for you two very special tournaments in two days – a familiar ruleset\, but unique formats and weapons.\nWe will begin with the classic Longsword competition on Saturday\, but with a twist – no matter your skill and luck\, you won’t go back home with just a couple of fights.
