DESCRIPTION:This will be our sixth tournament\, and we couldn’t be more excited! Our goal is to create the best competitive experience for our fencers and the local community\, keeping things smooth\, fun\, and as stress-free as possible.\nTo make sure everyone can join in\, we continue the foam sword format event for those who don’t yet have full protective gear\, so come give it a try on Saturday\, May 23\, at 2 pm (checking-in opens at 1 pm!)\nThe Steel Longsword event has a Novice division (Saturday\, May 23\, at 3 pm) and an Advanced division (Sunday\, May 24\, at 12 pm).\nSteel Rapier will be held on May 24\, Sunday morning\, 10 am.\nChecking in starts on Sunday at 9 am. \nBe sure to check out the rules and explanatory videos!\nThis tournament is also a great opportunity for our volunteer directors to gain experience judging real bouts while keeping the atmosphere friendly and open. We are also open to including directors and side judges from clubs with the participation of over 3 fencers. DESCRIPTION:Battle Born is Nevada’s premier Historical European Martial Arts tournament\, located in Carson City\, Nevada. In 2026\, Battle Born will host fencers from across North America in steel longsword\, rapier\, broadsword and smallsword competitions. DESCRIPTION:Three-day-long Historical European Martial Arts (HEMA) training camp in an amazing and period-appropriate environment.\n1610 was the year Panemunė castle was completed. What a coincidence: the early 17th century was also the golden age of European martial arts\, and that’s what this HEMA camp is going to be all about.\nEach day there will be a seminar on one of the staple Renaissance weapons with a world-renown fencing master:\nJuly 21: Longsword (Matt Galas)\nJuly 22: Sabre (Jerzy Miklaszewski)\nJuly 23: Rapier (Mike Prendergast)\nAdditional activities will include excursions\, lectures\, sparring\, target cutting\, handling of real antique weapons\, sitting around a campfire and more. Stay tuned for more information on the schedule!\nHow much will it cost?\nFull price:\n3 days: 200 eur\n2 days: 150 eur\n1 day: 100 eur\nThe price includes stays (2\, 1 and 0 appropriately) at the castle’s hostel.\nThere is an additional option to stay in fancier hotel rooms (for an additional price\, see the registration form).\nThere is also an option to camp in a tent\, which will reduce the base price by 14 eur. per night. DESCRIPTION:The premiere Hema event in Greece returns with it’s 7th edition!\nThis year we go north of Greece with “The White Tower Edition” in the beautiful city of Thessaloniki! \nHEMATHLON will be a part of a bigger event the “Mediterranean Culture-Sports Tournament Thessaloniki 2025” which includes a lot of non-recognized sports like: handball in the sand \, wrestling in the sand\, korfball\, basketball 3×3\, types of MMA fighting\, running and shooting (laser) and a lot more other activities and sports!\nThe event will take place in the center of town in special designated areas from July 17th to July 20th supported by the municipality of the town of Thessaloniki. DESCRIPTION:Battle Born is a premium mid-size HEMA event that brings in fencers from all over North America. We strive to marry the best aspects of the professionalism of large HEMA events with the camaraderie and opportunities for individual connection found in small HEMA events. \nSome things we do: \nRegular tournaments in Longsword\, Broadsword\, Rapier\, and Women’s Smallsword\n“Single-Life” tournaments in Longsword\, Broadsword\, and Rapier; we are considering smallsword\, as well!\nBoth curated workshops and tournaments\, run at separate times (so you’ll never miss a class by your favorite instructor because you had to compete!)\nA casual dinner on Saturday for more socializing opportunities\nKeeping focus on quality judging\, fencer experience\, and audience experience\nOur tournament ruleset is different. Our approach to HEMA events is different. We hope this makes for a better experience.
