At Fantastická Ostrava.\nAnd now even more fantasyfechtfechtier.\nA community gathering\, now with added value that truly makes sense.\nAnd not just that.\n⚫ What’s new this year?\n🗓 Saturday\, June 27\, 2026\nOfficial tournament in the longsword category.\nLimited capacity\n➡️ Increased to 18 participants.\nWe want to create space for high-quality bouts\, a sufficient number of matches\, and a fair tournament pace.\nFor this reason\, the number of spots is strictly limited\, and we recommend registering as soon as registration opens.\n➡️ THE TOURNAMENT COUNTS TOWARDS HEMA RATINGS‼️\n⚪ Sunday = open sparring\n🗓 Sunday\, June 28\, 2026\nThe second day will be dedicated to open sparring without fixed category divisions.\nWe are primarily expecting:\nsabre\nrapier\nsword and buckler\nand other weapons that participants bring with them\nThe goal is to create an open space for technique\, exchange of experience\, and the joy of fencing across styles.\n🔴 Entry fee\n990 CZK / both days\nThe entry fee includes:\nparticipation in the Saturday tournament\nSunday open sparring\na two-day ticket to the Fantastická Ostrava 2026 festival\, of which the event is a part\n❤️ A tournament with a heart ❤️\nWe don’t want Fantastic Fecht to be just a sporting event.\nPart of the registration proceeds will be donated to the Solidarity Fund of the Ministry of Defence of the Czech Republic\, specifically to support war veterans.\nThese are people who\, in service to the state\, risked their health and lives due to wars and often carry the consequences long after the conflict has ended for others.\nSupporting veterans is not a formal gesture for us\, but a natural part of the values connected to fencing\, discipline\, and respect for the craft of arms.\nThanks to your participation\, the tournament will therefore have a real and meaningful impact. ❤️‍🔥\nThe Solidarity Fund should be presented on site as a partner organization of the tournament.\n🏰 Accommodation & afterparty\nAccommodation is provided for participants in the premises of our fencing salle.\nAvailable facilities:\nWC\nrefrigerator\ncoffee maker\nmicrowave oven\nThe weekend also includes an afterparty in the fencing salle. DESCRIPTION:The Sioux Falls Tournament of Blades is a unique martial arts event that brings together practitioners from a wide range of bladed weapon traditions for a day of learning\, camaraderie\, and friendly competition. Unlike most tournaments that focus on a single art\, the Tournament of Blades celebrates the diversity of weapon-based martial arts by hosting divisions in multiple systems including Olympic-style fencing\, Historical European Martial Arts (HEMA)\, modern Kendo\, and padded sword competition. \nHosted by Dynamic Martial Arts of Sioux Falls\, the Tournament of Blades is a the premier open-format edged weapons event in the region. Now in it’s second year\, this event was created to provide a place where practitioners from different traditions can come together to test their skills\, share knowledge\, and grow as martial artists. Whether you are stepping into competition for the first time or are an experienced competitor\, the tournament is designed to encourage respectful competition\, personal improvement\, and the exchange of ideas between arts. \nWe look forward to welcoming competitors\, coaches\, and spectators to Sioux Falls for a day dedicated to the martial traditions of the blade.
